Founded by friends and award-winning composers Benjamin Smith-Leverock-Esser and Laurence Hammerton, JOLT Audio creates expert sound to elevate, enhance and finesse your motion pictures.
JOLT has kept a range of client giants sounding great, including Coca-Cola, Airbnb and Virgin, as well as content kings like Vogue, Nowness and Dazed & Confused.
Aside from composing for major brands, founders Laurence and Ben are musicians and multi-instrumentalists in their own right, releasing records under major labels, and supported by the likes of Mary-Anne-Hobbs and Zane Lowe across BBC Radio 1 and 6music. Their work has taken them touring all over the world, and collectively, they have played and written for standout artists including Lily Allen, Jungle and Woodkid.
And there’s more. JOLT’s portfolio includes scoring and recording with a 22-piece orchestra and collaborating with traditional Scottish Choirs.
They also have studios in Berlin and London which house vintage gear, synths, samplers and a collection of rare percussion instruments. With such a broad range of music composition experience from brands to bands, they can evidence a distinct and unique approach to each and every project.
